What is it?

Project Shum is holding a business competition in 2012 for kids aged 8 to 22, from the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States.

The winning plan will be awarded with an equity acquisition and free business mentoring.

What do you need to do?

• Form a team of friends, and assign roles and functions

• Draw up a business plan

• Create an upload an elevator pitch presentation to YouTube

• Send everything to business-competition@jeremyshum.co.uk by June 30, 2012

Competition rules

• We will not accept offers with less than 40% equity, and greater than $10,000 investment

• It should be indicated how business valuation was derived, what investment will be spent on (ensuring this isn't wages)

• Include one form of Government-issued photographic identification, as well as proof of address for each member

• Tell us a bit about you and your team members - and why you're right for the role

• Don't just submit an idea; proof of concept is important - what sales have you obtained? how many hits? where's a sample copy?

• Project Shum reserves the right to make retrospective changes, amendments, additives, and removals from the rules
